Medical Policy Director, Market Access

Marissa Russell is the Medical Policy Director in the Market Access Department at Ambry Genetics. She is a licensed, board certified genetic counselor with extensive experience across clinical, health plan, and industry settings. Leveraging her deep expertise, Marissa partners collaboratively to align medical policy and optimize patient access to genetic testing. A dedicated patient advocate, she is focused on reducing barriers so that appropriate patients receive the right genetic test at the right time and cost.

Vice President, Market Access

Greg Nogle has had an extensive history within the market access field and is currently the vice President of Market Access for Ambry Genetics, a Tempus company. In this role, he is responsible for leading the team in integrating coverage initiatives with CMS/Medicare contractors and driving reimbursement strategies for commercial and government payers. In addition, he directs coverage efforts aligned with internal and external clinical stakeholders to drive policy changes within molecular diagnostics. In his career, Greg held positions on the payor side, creating clinical and ancillary networks under risk and alternative payment models. He holds a B.S. from LSU where he focused on economics and history.

Genomic Science Liaison

Connolly Steigerwald MS, CGC is a Genomic Science Liaison at Ambry Genetics. She is certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and earned her MS in Genetic Counseling from Columbia University in New York City. She previously worked as a clinical genetic counselor within the Lysosomal Storage Disorders Program and Division of Neurogenetics at NYU Langone Health. Her clinical and research interests have spanned lysosomal storage disorders, adult-onset neurodegenerative disease, and predictive genetic testing. She is an active member of the New York State Genetics Task Force Education Committee.
