The reproductive health journey is intimate, personal and may be full of uncertainty. As a clinician, you understand the importance of accurate results and clear, easy-to-understand resources when it comes to delivering optimal care to your patients during this time. As a leader in genetic testing for more than two decades, we've focused on making testing—and everything that comes before and after it—less complicated.

Why Ambry?

When it comes to genetic testing, not all labs are the same. For more than a decade, Ambry has dedicated scientific resources and research to the health care needs of patients. To continue to inform and empower patients through different life stages, we've expanded our genetic testing offerings to include non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT, also known as non-invasive prenatal screening or NIPS) and carrier screening.

Equally important to our mission is improving the patient experience by enabling providers to guide each patient and their partner through family planning with an education-first approach. We developed the CARE (Comprehensive Assessment Risk and Education) Program™, which leverages a digital patient management platform, to make it easier to provide equitable access to reproductive health care.

Screening Tests

The American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG) recommends informed decision-making as a part of the carrier screening and NIPT process. Based on recommendations from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG), Ambry Genetics offers the following screening tests to help inform the risk of potential genetic conditions:

Carrier Screening

Recommended before pregnancy and available any time during pregnancy, this test begins with a routine lab test that can help to identify risk of passing on certain genetic conditions, regardless of family history. Our core offering includes screening for cystic fibrosis (CF) and spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), and the Ashkenazi Jewish panel. Additional add-on screening tests are also available.
