Phenotype is not Always a Positive Predictor of Detection Rate in Epilepsy Panels

  • This paper shows that phenotype may not be a good positive predictor of detection rate in epilepsy panels while also demonstrating the utility of panel testing for individuals with broad spectrum epilepsy phenotypes.
  • The overall diagnostic rate for EpiFirst panels was 32% (n=31) and for EpilepsyNext panels was 19% (n=135).
