VP, Quality & Regulatory Affairs, Ambry Genetics

Tammy Schepp-Moncur is the VP of Quality and Regulatory where she leads a quality and regulatory team responsible for the compliance oversight of clinical operations to support the initiative to advance precision medicine. Tammy has over 20-years of experience in the biopharmaceutical and clinical diagnostics industries with extensive expertise in developing Quality Management and Regulatory Programs for drug, drug/device and clinical diagnostics companies. Tammy joined Ambry Genetics in 2018 where she has led a team to develop and implement a medical device QMS; support PMDA Japan submissions; and manage NY and FDA submissions. Prior to Ambry, Tammy worked at PerkinElmer where she led the quality and regulatory programs for the US, India and China clinical diagnostic laboratories and their US tissue banking facility. Tammy also held an Associate Director position with ZymoGenetics (aka Bristol Meyer Squibb) where she directed the clinical quality program, successfully hosted US and international inspections, and supported the BLA, PMA and NDA regulatory filings for Recothrom® of which was approved by FDA in 2008. Tammy held other Quality positions at Targeted Genetics, Seattle Genetics and ID Biomedical throughout her professional career. Tammy graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology – Medical Laboratory Sciences. Tammy is passionate about her Quality and Regulatory leadership role at Ambry and the opportunity to champion cutting-edge innovation to advance precision medicine which ultimately improves patient care.

Genomic Science Liaison, Ambry Genetics

Jessica Laprise joined Ambry in 2020 as the Oncology Genomic Science Liaison for the New England Region. In her current role she serves as a clinical liaison for the field team to educate health care providers and key opinion leaders on genetic testing and genomic medicine. Jessica previously worked as a clinical cancer genetic counselor at The Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program at Women and Infants Hospital/Warren Alpert School of Medicine, Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island for over 15 years. She has been actively involved with clinical research with multiple national presentations and numerous peer-reviewed publications.  Jessica has worked closely with the National Society of Breast Centers (NCoBC) serving as the Co-chair for their annual genetics pre-conference for multiple years and contributed to the development of the organization’s Cancer Genetics and Risk Certification Program.  She is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors Access and Service Delivery Committee and is particularly passionate about increasing patient access to genetics services and provider education.
