AMBRY GENETICS EXPANDS AND RELOCATES TO LARGER FACILITY

ALISO VIEJO, CA (August 29, 2005) – AMBRY GENETICS, a worldwide leader in genetic testing, announced its move into a new and improved facility in Aliso Viejo, California. Worldwide operations and all genetic testing are now being performed at Ambry’s new sophisticated molecular and research laboratories and headquarters, less than 8 miles southwest of Ambry’s former location in Irvine, CA.

Ambry Genetics’ new custom-built facility measuring 24,000 square feet, almost doubles the company's former building and allows for accelerated growth and expansion. The expanded space and state-of-the-art capabilities enable the Company to easily restructure workcells to optimize process flow and customer demand.

“When we considered the design of a new facility, we tried to look years ahead, not only to consider current volumes, but also how we plan to expand our product offerings while continuously improving our quality,” said Charles Dunlop, Chief Executive Officer of Ambry Genetics.

In addition to the new facility, Ambry Genetics is implementing Atlas Medical’s LabWorks order entry and results reporting system to further increase operational expediency and provide enhanced service to our customer.
