Charles L. M. Dunlop

Chairman of the Board of Directors
Charles founded Ambry Genetics in March of 2000. He has extensive experience in
establishing and managing biology laboratories in research and manufacturing / technology
transfer environments. Previously he worked at Scripps Institute in La Jolla, California
in the molecular biology laboratory of Dr. Gregory Sutcliffe and has been involved
in numerous projects in the development of this science. While at Scripps Institute,
Charles published an article in Nature Magazine on the subject of cloning and characterizing
the Cortistatin gene from the mammalian central nervous system. He is a graduate
of the University of California, San Diego with concentration in biology, mathematics,
physics and economics.
George S. L. Dunlop
Secretary and General Counsel
George is general counsel and secretary for the Board of Directors for Ambry Genetics.
Previously he was associated with the law firm Nixon, Mudge, Rose, Guthrie, Alexander
and Mitchell in New York and Washington, D.C. and later served as a counsel to President
Ford's election campaign. He has served as Director for the Foundation for Native
American Educational, the Foundation for Sports Directions (The Olympic Experience)
and held positions at New Ventures Capital Corporation (Washington, D.C.). He maintains
a general practice of law in Orange County, California and graduated from the University
of British Columbia in 1964 and Hastings College of Law, University of California
in 1969.
Barton K. (Bo) Boyd
Company Director
Bo held several positions at the Walt Disney Company. In 1971, Bo was a part of
the opening team for Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and helped establish a
$1 billion a year merchandizing business. He was appointed President of the Consumer
Products Division and later was named Chairman for all Walt Disney Company merchandizing,
licensing, publishing, interactive and retail operations. During his leadership
the division grew to include business ventures in over 110 countries globally and
included worldwide renowned children's software publishing, entertainment business
licensing, and global book and magazine publishing operations. Gross sales under
Bo's direction rose from $120 Million to $2.8 Billion annually. Bo is actively involved
with the Little League Foundation.
Luke Padwick, MD, MS
Company Director
Dr. Padwick practices Adult and Pediatric Emergency Medicine in West Texas. Prior
to his medical training, Luke was an Analyst in Research and Development Finance,
at Apple Computer, in Cupertino, California. He later gained research experience
in the field of molecular biology at UT–Southwestern Medical Center, where he studied
the nerve outgrowth stimulated by cell implants. Luke did his residency in Emergency
Medicine at LA County–Martin Luther King Hospital. He holds an MS in Zoology, with
a concentration in Biochemistry, from Texas Tech University, and an MD from the
University of Texas–Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Luke holds a BA
from Stanford University in Quantitative Economics.
